Obituary of HEEBNER – Monique

March 10, 1932 – June 8, 2010 Monique Heebner beloved wife of Gerald of Calgary, passed away at Peter Lougheed Centre, Calgary, Alberta on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Monique was born in Lafleche SK, fourth eldest of eight children born to Marguerite and Jean Louis Morin. Raised and attended school at the convent in Lafleche, before she met the love of her life, Gerry Heebner. They were married in 1955 where they both worked in Calgary for several years on various assignments before moving back to Saskatchewan in 1956. Monique and Gerry started their newly formed family in Gull Lake, where Kim and Nadine were born and Ronnie was soon to follow. After living and working in various locations, they settled in Calgary. Monique worked numerous years with Sears before her retirement where she concentrated on her grandchildren and gardening. Monique is survived by her two daughters Kim and her husband Gary Epp of Cochrane, AB and Nadine and her husband John David of Victoria, BC and one son Ron and his wife Sherry Reedy of Ottawa, ON. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tyler Epp and his girlfriend Heather of Ft. McMurray, AB, Josh Epp of Cochrane, AB, Whitney and her husband Kyle Binnie of Belleville, ON, Jesse Reedy of Ottawa, ON, Logan David of Victoria, BC, and Kelly David of Victoria, BC; and by her great Grandchildren Kaylee Binnie. Monique is also survived by her sisters Claire and her husband John Whitby of Gravelbourg, SK, Lucille and her husband Harley Strain of Sault Ste Marie, Agathe and her husband Allen Charbonneau of Guelph, ON, and Madeleine McGillis of Edmonton, AB. Monique was predeceased by her two sisters Marthe Leberge and Francoise Reedy, one brother Vincent Morin. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle Northwest, Calgary, Alberta), on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Drive Northwest, Calgary, Alberta) on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. You may forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
