To Matt’s Family,

I Just recently found out that Matt had left us all. I graduated from High School and completed USAF basic training with Matt. We were and will always be Good Friends. Did you know that Matt was a Military Dog Handler while in the Air Force?

What can one say, but please accept my sincerest condolences for the loss of Matthew.

Judi has kept me updated on the long and difficult road Matthew, you and the lads have traveled in the past year. I don’t know how you did it.

The strength and courage, but most of all the extraordinary stamina you all displayed has been amazing to watch.

I am annoyed that I am on the road in New Brunswick this week on a client project and will be unable to attend Thursday’s Memorial Service, but be assured Matthew, you and the boys are in my thoughts and prayers, and will be especially prominent on Thursday.
