Obituary of SILBERNAGEL – JOHN DOUGLAS

November 20, 1948 – June 7, 2010 Doug Silbernagel beloved husband of Linda of Airdrie passed away on Monday June 7, 2010 at the age of 61 years. Doug was raised in Beiseker on the family farm. After graduation from high school, he worked various jobs until starting Eagle Security in the early 1980’s, which he operated until poor health forced him to retire. Doug is survived by his daughter Shelley (Jason) Saelens, sons Marty (Andrea) and Barry (Kristie) Silbernagel and granddaughters Jessica and Zoe. He is also survived by his mother Theresa Mastel, brothers Harold (Myrtle), Raymond (Susan), brother-in-law Owen Edwards (Karin), and many nieces and nephews. Doug was predeceased by his father Baltser, brother Harvey, nephew Dale and step father Eugene Mastel Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at ST. PAUL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (1305 Main Street, Airdrie, Alberta) on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST.
