Dear Sandra, Heather, and Family,
Elaine and I want to extend our most sincere sympathy upon Herb’s passing. I share your grief at the separation you now experience, but rejoice with you that he is home with Jesus. I pray that you and your entire family would feel God’s arms holding you today and the in the days ahead. I am unable to attend Herb’s service as Michael’s grad ceremony is also this afternoon, but please know that I love you and am praying for you. God bless you.
Your friend,
Kent
Our deepest condolences to all the family of our friend Herb. We were roomates at the Rockyview Hospital and we were both released on the 19 May 2010.
You made a lasting impression on me Herb, as you told me how full a life you had lived. You were so proud of your wife, children and grandchildren. We prayed together and you expressed such a profound love for the Lord and how you were looking forward to an early retirement from your pain and suffering. You brought the family together to explain your desire to move on and asked their permission to do so. When we left the Hospital I gave you a big hug and our last words were, see you in Paradise mi amigo! It was touching and now I have only your memory and will cherish our last days together. We will celebrate your life at 2:00 today.
Love and Deepest Sympathy to all the family,
Roy & Bernice Stewart.
I remember Herb vividly from the days I worked at EECOL Electric. He was very hard working and I always used to try to make him laugh because he was always working so hard. I know of his work with with the Mustard Seed as I did some volunteer work there myself, thanks to Herb.
It was very sad to read that he has passed. He will be missed by most of us who worked with him.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered “come to me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
Sandra

Sandra & Family
Please accept my deepest condolences. I had the opportunity to work with Herb for 10 years and yes he was honest, had great integrity and was a pleasure to be around.
The one thing I’ll remember is Herb always cared about the small contractor
and made sure they were always taken care of.

My friend Herb. We spent many hours together. Volunteering at the mustard seed, kicking tyres (tractors) at Irricana, usher duties at Bonavista Church, r/ving with the Prarie Schooners,
lots of special times with the girls,
putting the world to rights and generally b/essing. Oggling motor cycles. Herb we will miss you. Love and prayers to Sandy & family
see you later.
