Obituary of Wayne Walter SCHMIDT

April 26, 1951 – Grenfell, Saskatchewan October 17, 2018 – Florence, Arizona, USA Wayne, beloved husband of Barbara, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 17th, 2018 in Arizona, at the age of 67 years. During the summer Wayne loved golf and weekends out at the cabin. During the winter he spent time in Arizona to escape the snow and cold weather where he enjoyed a few rounds of golf. Wayne and Barb always made a point to come home at Christmas to spend time with family and to catch a few of their grandchildren’s hockey games. Our family lost not only an amazing man, but also a Husband, Father, Grandpa, Brother, and Friend. Wayne is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Barbara (nee Roberts); son Tyson (Kristyn); and his daughter Tanya (Brian). He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Sheldon, Crue, Preston, Nolan and Everleigh, who were his everything. A celebration of life was held in Arizona. It was attended by his family and loving friends in the area. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (), on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the Funeral Home.
