Obituary of SIMPSON – Stephen William

May 27, 1919 – May 28, 2010 Stephen William Simpson of Calgary passed away on Friday, May 28, 2010 at the age of 91 years. Stephen was the son of pioneers west of Calgary. He grew up on the family farm known as Braemar Ranch. He married Freida Schimpf on November 1, 1941. Stephen was a WWII veteran. Stephen is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Steve and Vicky Simpson; two daughters Carol Simpson and Darlene Williams; five grandchildren, Scott (Laureen) Simpson, Lyle (Karen) Simpson, Mark (Jocelyn) Simpson, Tara (Owen) McAllister of the United Kingdom, and Chris Williams of Fort Smith, AB; five great-grandchildren, Zoe and Luke Simpson, Kaelie and Jaeden Simpson, and Olivia McAllister as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased his beloved wife Freida in 2004. Funeral Services will be held at Bethany Chapel (3333 Richardson Way S.W.) on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. You may forward condolences through .
