Obituary of CAREY – Barbara Ella

October 9, 1945 – May 26, 2010 Barbara “Barb” Carey of Calgary, passed away peacefully at her home, with her daughter by her side, on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the age of 64 years, following a courageous battle with breast cancer. Barb was born in Winnipeg, MB. Barb is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Ryan Younker, and her grandson Brennan. She is also survived by two sisters, Deborah Thomas and Susan Thomas, one brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Dee Thomas. Barb was predeceased by her parents, Tudor and Margaret Thomas, a brother Art Thomas, and a sister Lynne Thomas. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.
