Obituary of STRANGLING WOLF – Philip Chris Kah Yii Woo Taan

December 25, 1929 – May 23, 2010 It is with great sadness and sorrow, the family of Chris Strangling Wolf (Sr.) announces the passing of a beloved and cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to all who knew him, on Sunday May 23, 2010 at the age of 80 years. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Susan Strangling Wolf, his children Chris (Colleen), Sharon, Donna (Clayton), Jackie (Kelly), Francis, Peter (Stella), Catherine, Velma EB (Gilbert), Adolph BP (Vivian), Eldon WC (Alvine), Leonard Bastein (Audrey). Chris loved and cherished all his grand-kids, great-grand kids, great-great grand kids- nieces and nephews, and also his many adopted children and siblings (Too many to name). Also Chris’ special grandson whom he raised: Phillip Strangling Wolf. And his faithful dog Jiggs. Sister in Laws: Liz Scout, Connie (Mike) Rabbit Carrier. Chris was predeceased by his parents Ben and Mary Lucy, also mother Hilda SW, Sons; Ben, Woody, Rolland and Kim SW, Siblings; Jim, Francis, Howard, Jack, Suzy, Lucy, Katie, Lily, Helen, Dolly and Ruth. The family apologizes, if they have missed any family members or friends. We would also like to thank Foothills Hospital Doctors and Native Liaison, Siksika Health, Strathmore Hospital staff, especially Dr. Lobay for making his last stay as comfortable as they could. Wake Services will be held at the Gordon Yellowfly Memorial Arbour Siksika Nation on Thursday May 27, 2010 at 6:00p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Gordon Yellowfly Memorial Arbour Siksika Nation on Friday May 28, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Paul Little Walker Cemetery.
