Obituary of FAZIO – Giovaninna

June 24, 1931 – May 22, 2010 Giovaninna Fazio (nee Stamile), beloved wife of Filippo of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Giovaninna immigrated to Canada in 1953 from San Giacomo di Cerzeto, Italy. She was a very devoted wife of sixty-two years and a loving mother to her children. Giovaninna was very kind and always put the needs of others before her own. She was always there to help her family when they needed her. Besides her loving husband Filippo, Giovaninna is also survived by her children, Ricki (Pietro) Castagnaro, Toni Fazio, May (Richard) Lambert), and Frank Fazio; her grandchildren, Emma (Chris), Kevin and Mike; her sister Raffaela Sarro; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Giovaninna was predeceased by her mother Enrichetta; Father Gennaro; and brother Guiseppe.
