Obituary of MONTGOMERY – Allen

November 01, 1921 – May 21, 2010 Allen Montgomery passed away peacefully on Friday, May 21, 2010 at the age of 88 years. Allen and his wife of fifty-eight years, Flora, lived in Montreal, PQ and St. Catharines, ON. He and Flora spent many years travelling, golfing, playing bridge and enjoying their friends and family. He joined his daughter MariLynn in Calgary in August 2004. In his younger years he enjoyed golfing and curling and as he became older, he became a “Master of the Remote”. Dad was a quiet man who could always surprise you with his charm and sense of humour. Allen is survived by his daughter MariLynn and his two sisters, Grace Stevenson of Oshawa, ON and Joyce Jackson of Parksville, BC. Allen was predeceased by his wife Flora in September 2002. A celebration of Allen’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday May 27, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
