Obituary of Wendy Joan WARWICK

WARWICK – Wendy Joan October 31, 1941 – May 21, 2010 Wendy Warwick of Calgary passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010 at the age of 68 years. She is survived by her son, Kelly Bird, and daughter-in-law, Jolene, of McMinnville, Oregon, and two grandchildren, Karlee and Jillian Bird. She is also survived by a brother, Kenneth Warwick, and sister-in-law, Margot, of Tokoroa, New Zealand. She was predeceased by her ex-husband, Gordon H. Bird, formerly of Calgary, and her parents, Frank and Lillian Warwick. She graduated from Queen Elizabeth High School in Calgary in 1949. She lived for a time in Eugene and Portland, Oregon, then later returned to Calgary and attended the Baptist Leadership Training School. She worked for 15 years as an administrative assistant at Calgary Public Library. She was a long-time member of Altadore Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will be held at MCINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
