Obituary of SCHROEDER – Elwin Robert

January 17, 1917 – May 20, 2010 Elwin (Nick) Robert Schroeder beloved husband of Leonore, passed away on Thursday May 20, 2010 at the age of 93 years. Elwin was born in Gadsby, Alberta on January 17th, 1917 and was one of seven children of John Frederick and Vesta Viola Schroeder. He will be forever missed by son Bob (Jane), daughter Diane, Grandchildren Kari, David and John (Sheri Lee), and great grandchildren Tessa Lee and Ryder. Elwin lived in Gadsby until he enlisted in the airforce in 1941. In 1943, dad and mom were married. After the war they farmed in Nanton until 1960 when they moved to Calgary and raised their family.
