Obituary of KRANJCEC – Ljubica

June 7, 1919 – May 19, 2010 In loving memory of Ljubica Kranjcec of Calgary who passed away peacefully on May 19th, 2010 at the age of 90, after a full and happy life enjoying family and friends. Luby was born on June 7th, 1919 in Zagreb, Croatia. Luby’s last few years were spent in the High River Hospital where she made new friends. The family is very appreciative of the staff that provided such loving care during her stay. Luby’s strength and independence was truly an inspiration to us all. She will be remembered as Mother to William Kranjcec, and Janet. As Granny to Kathy, Nancy, Julie, Mike, Kevin, Kristine, as well as Great Granny to Jared, Jenny, Jillian, Jeff, Sydney, Ryan, Olivia, Emily, Hannah, Aiden, Kellen. We will always remember her wonderful sense of humour and laughter. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
