Condolences
Dear Gail:
I just saw the obit of your husbands passing. 60 years is a long time to share a life with a loved one and very sad to lose that closeness.
I would dearly love to talk with you.

To the Burke family:
It was with much sadness that I read of the passing of your father. As you probably know, Phil and I, although sitting on opposite sides, had much rapport and respect for each other. Aside from Union business we had much in common. Phil really loved his children, spoke of them often, and was very proud of you all. I tried keeping in touch with him thru the years and did a better job of it except for the last two years. However, I often thought of him and the laughs we had together. I was fortunate enough to visit with him in Calgary in August 2004.
You will miss him I’m sure as will so many others who he did so much for. You were fortunate to have had him for so many years. As you look back you will find comfort remembering all the good times you had with him.
My wife joins me in extending our deepest sympathy.

I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Phil. My condolences go out to Phil’s family. Phil was one of a kind who truly cared for his fellow man and as a union officer showed that every day.
Dear Burke Family,
Our deepest sympathies on the passing of Phil. May you find strength and support within your family and in the memories that you share. We are thinking of you…The Clovechok Family
I was saddened to hear of Phil’s passing. He was truly a leader among men, a real gentleman at all times and a friend. My condolences go out to his entire family, but I know they have comfort in the knowledge that Phil earned his place in heaven.
