Obituary of FRAAS – Margaret Jane

Margaret passed away peacefully in Calgary on Sunday, May 16, 2010. Loving wife of the late William James Fraas (Bill); sister of Bruce Nicholson and his wife Donna; dear mother of Jim, Nancy (David), Bob (Lorraine), and Sandy; special Nana to Jamie, John, Dana, Adam, Casey, Will, and the late Billy. ‘Nick’ will be missed by her sisters-in-law, Norma Lounsbury and Ruth Cooke (Bill). Auntie Margaret will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Dr. P. Ghatage, Barb Tisdale, Kathleen Russell, and the staff and volunteers at Rosedale Hospice for their wonderful care. A special thank you goes to dear friends, Helen Borm and Bonnie Zwack, for their friendship and support. At Margaret’s request there will be no funeral. A private family burial will take place in Montreal at a later date. If friends so desire donations may be made directly to Rosedale Hospice, 920 – 7A Street NW, Calgary AB T2M 3J3.
