Obituary of TURNER – Helen Jean Carmichael

July 9, 1915 – May 16, 2010 Helen Turner of Calgary passed away peacefully on May 16, 2010 at the age of 94 years. Helen was born in Morden, MB and enjoyed teaching in Winnipeg for thirty-two years. She moved to Calgary in 1988 to be closer to her family, watch her grandsons grow up and was thrilled when she became a great-grandma. Helen is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Bob and Val Turner; grandsons, Michael (Lisa) and David (Becci); four great-grandchildren, Natalie, Graeme, Cooper and Ella. She was predeceased by husband Russell in 1978 and her son William in 1986. A Celebration of Helen’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held in Morden, MB at a later date.
