Obituary of YOUNKER – Bruce Douglas

May 11, 1944 – May 15, 2010 Bruce Douglas Younker beloved husband of Elaine Younker of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the age of 66 years. Bruce was born in Hanna, Alberta on May 11, 1944. He was a member of Local 110 Asbestos Workers Union for forty-five years. Bruce is survived by his loving wife Elaine; sons Rob and Randy (Debbie); step-grandchildren, Lynden, Tanner and Jordan; siblings, Mel (Marion) Younker, Jean (Jim) Munro, Jack Younker , Norma (Emil) Glubrecht, Sylvia (Cecil) Sheilds; numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; as well as Elaine’s family. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles Melvin Younker and Olive; stepfather Leo Greensides; and sister-in-law Arleigh. Bruce will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace.
