Obituary of HOSHAL – Carey Harvey

August 11, 1964 – May 12, 2010 Carey Harvey Hoshal beloved husband of Lori of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at the age of 45 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Carey was a fun-loving person and he was like a “big kid”. For this reason, children of all ages were drawn to him. Carey had a positive outlook on life and he was looking forward to his future with his wife Lori doing all the fun things they had planned. Carey was looking forward to watching his granddaughter Nevaeh Carey Ann grow up and unfortunately he was diagnosed with cancer shortly before she was born. They say that when one life ends, another begins. Nothing could be further from the truth in Carey and Nevaeh’s situation. Carey’s carefree attitude was instilled by everyone he met and will be sadly missed. Besides his loving wife Lori, Carey is survived by his children, January, Jeffery, Amber (Andrew), and Justin; granddaughter Nevaeh Carey Ann; father Peter (Sandra); mother Sharon; grandma Marion, whom he loved dearly; grandpa Bob; brothers, Jim (Wanda), Randy (Carol); stepbrother Erin (Anne); stepsister Angela; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Carey was predeceased by his brother Richard.
