We were so sorry to hear about the passing of Cy..we have such wonderful memories of him…his bird poems which we still have and the beer can salt and pepper shakers which we still have…so many laughs and smiles were shared down south.

The Warden/Fawcett clan offer deepest sympathy to Mary and her family on the passing of her husband and father Cy Ferris. We lived for 18 years across the street in Windermere and enjoyed his warmth, free spirit and individuality…not to mention the occasional Rainbow trout he donated for dinner.

His book of Bird Rhymes sits proudly in our living room.

We enjoyed very much having Cy as our neighbour in Windermere.

He had such a great sense of humour, was always friendly and kept so busy with all his great hobbies.

We have some of Cy’s willow furniture which will help us to remember him in the years to come.

He was a great man and we feel lucky to have known him.
