Obituary of PRIESTNALL – Clara Mae

August 4, 1913 – May 9, 2010 Clara Priestnall passed away peacefully on Sunday May 9, 2010 surrounded by caring and compassionate staff at Staywell Manor. Her surviving family; daughter Penny, son in law Murray, grandchildren Stephen and Maureen and great grandchild Ryan had so many happy times with her. She was always so appreciative of even the smallest things that family and friends did for. She was always very active participating enthusiastically in activities such as bridge, curling, golf and bowling. She was always ready, on the shortest notice, to be with family and friends. When Clara turned ninety years old she held a tea at the Calgary Golf and Country Club for her family and friends. This tea was to be in place of a funeral service at the time of her death. We will honour that wish. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
