Obituary of ALLENBERGER – Friedhelm Roy

December 10, 1943 – May 7, 2010 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Fred “Roy” Allenberger on Friday, May 7, 2010, at the age of 66 years. Born in Germany, he and his family immigrated to Canada in 1952. Roy was the cherished husband for forty-four years to Shirley; loving father to Lisa (Bill) Barry; and beloved “Bumpa” to his three granddaughters, Kayla, Sarah and Jadyn. He will also be greatly missed by his sister Ilse Latzel, sister-in-law Germa Allenberger, mother-in-law Pearl Stone, and all of his other brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by his father Otto, mother Elisabeth and brother Wolfgang. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Monday, May 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
