Obituary of HERRING – Marjorie Ethel

May 29, 1921 – May 3, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of Marjorie Herring announces her passing in Calgary on Monday, May 3, 2010 at the age of 88 years. Marjorie was born in Montreal on May 29, 1921 and spent the early part of her life there until moving to Calgary in 1975. Marjorie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother with her own unique ability to spread love and joy to family, friends and neighbours. She was an avid Stampeders and Flames fan. Marjorie was always happiest when her whole family was around her. Marjorie is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Randi of Calgary and Glen and Ann of Oakville, ON; and two grandsons, Graham and Stephen, both of Calgary. She is also survived by two of her eight brothers and sisters, George (Jean) Harman of Calgary and Muriel Staley of Oakville. She was predeceased in 1999 by her husband Robert and in 2009 by her daughter Patricia. A celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
