Condolences
My heart goes out to Sue’s family. She often talked of you, especially Nikole, with a lilt in her voice & pride shining through. She lived with and shared joy with so many of us, always with a smile and a laugh. We will all miss her in our lives. God bless.
My heartfelt condolences to the family. Sue always had a grin and could cheer the room in no time.
I know she was extremely proud of Nikole and the very mention of Nikole brought a sparkle in her eyes.
We all will miss you Sue.
Thank you for being a part of our lives.
Sue, you were a true inspiration to many. Your devotion to your daughter Nikole was very evident everyday. I will always cherish the things that you taught me. Your hearty laugh will remain in my memory for my lifetime.
I am grateful for the brief time that I worked with you. You will be missed by many. With deepest sympathy for your Family and may you Rest in Peace, my friend. As Ever, Leanne
Dear McCallum Family…it has been many years, I have thought of you often, today, when I think of you it is with a heavy heart. Sue was a wonderful person, truly sunshine. The many nights we sat around your table in West Van…what fun! Breanne and I are so sorry for your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Hug!
My heartfelt condolences to the family …Sue was one hell of a lady! May she rest in peace!
Dear Helen, Kirk, Todd, Michelle and Nikole
I did already submit a note which is part of the guest book, but I came across this, and I thought I would send you my condolences again.
Even though Sue and I have been apart for years, our days together on Newcroft Place in West Vancouver, will always live on. I truly wish that I was in a position to fly out to Calgary, and attend her funeral. Please know that I will be thinking of all of you on Thursday, May 13th at 2:00pm. In honour of Sue, I have made a donation to the Cancer Society.
With warmest regards and prayers to you all.

Enclosed are a couple of prayers that I say with my children… maybe they will help you through this difficult time.
1) Angel of God, my Guardian dear
To whom Gods love commits me here
Ever this day, be at my side
To light, to guard, to rule and guide
Amen.
2) God, Our Father, I come to say
Thank you for your love this day
Thank you for my family, and everyone that you give to me
Watch us all through the night
And in the morning, send your light
Amen.
For Sue’s family and friends…….
I am so sorry for your loss of such a beautiful soul so young. They say in Switzerland “When an Angel walks the earth, sunshine follows”. Sue was such a ray of sunshine everywhere she went for all the time I have known her.
Rest in Peace our walking Angel. We will miss you
To the whole McCallum Family,
My thoughts are with you in this time of great sorrow and loss. Sue was one of the most wonderful people I have ever had the opportunity to spend time with. No matter how much was going on in her life, she always had time to lend an ear, and her hearty laugh and hugs would always make the day so much brighter. In the time that I have known Sue, there is not one person that she came in contact with, that was not touched by her joy. We will surely all miss her dearly.

To Nikole, Helen, Kirk, Teresa, Todd, Stephanie, Michelle, Steve, nieces and nephews,
My deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow and loss. It was a shock to hear about Sue dying..so young. I have been thinking about all of the fun times at Newcroft Place and of our road trip in my Volkswagon camper to Calgary. My memories of Sue are always of a funny, fun loving and deeply caring person. Although through distance we have lost touch, I will always hear Sue’s laugh in my head and hold dear my memories. Take care of each other. Love always,
Janie Hager
My Dear McCallum Family,
My words will never express how truly sorry I am for you all at the passing away of Sue. She was an extremely wonderful and loving person and from the time she sent me flying through the air at your home in West Van some 37 years ago, I have always loved her as I have all of you. If there is ever anything I can do at any time, please just ask and consider it done.
Love Always,
Scott
My deepest condolences to Helen, Nikole and your entire family. I was shocked to hear the news of Sue’s passing. I knew Sue as the mother of one of my students, you Nikole, who I taught in grade one and two at Beddington Heights Elementary. Sue was one of those parents that left an impression on me from the first time we met. She was such a dedicated and devoted mother. Nikole was the light of her life and she was so proud of everything Nikole did. Sue treated everyone with kindness and respect. Her warm, friendly and thoughtful way towards me will never be forgotten. My thoughts are with the McCallum family and I want you to know that you are in my prayers at this most difficult time.
Fond regards,
Barb
My thoughts are with all of you in this very sad time. We shared hugs and laughs together through the years at TELUS. Sue made a heavy heart light and a happy occasion even happier. I will miss her always. God bless and keep her safe is His arms.
Helen, Kirk, Todd and Michelle,
My sincere condolonces for your loss. I am still in shock, but recall all the great times we had at Newcroft years ago. Although I never met Nikole, she sounds like she was at the center of Sue’s universe through emails that Sue would share. Nikole is in good hands with your family. God bless you all.
Sue will truly be missed and my thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this difficult time. Sue was a beautiful lady with a warm infectious laugh she had a special way of always making you feel better. Her guidance and mentorship will be with me always. RIP Sue.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. You are a strong brave woman and an inspiration to all of us Sue. I will miss you so much and will never forget you.
We are very sad to hear that Sue has lost her brave battle with cancer. Our hearts go out to all of you and especially Nikole. We only knew Sue and Nikole a short time through Black Belt of Karate and Parkhill Tang Soo Do but they certainly made an impression. We admire them both and wanted to share our deepest condolences during this difficult time. Sue will be missed by many. Nikole, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Please accept my humble and sincere condolences in the memory of a great woman.
I worked with Sue for many years and can attest to the warmth of her laugh and genuine comfort of her hugs… She brought laughter and comfort to me and many others and I want you to know – I loved her too.
Some people come into this world to show us what Excellence looks like – Sue was one of those people. Without fail; I saw Sue demonstrate passion, love, honesty, humour and joy. I observed her being brave in every endeavor she took on and that always inspired me to reach a little deeper. To Nikole and Sue’s family ~ I can tell you that I honestly feel like I know each of your personally. Sue always spoke of you with a heart of love: she adored her family. Nikole, you gave your mom breath. She loved you more than life itself. Bless you for giving your mom so much purpose. I know that the rest of your life will show honour to the relationship you had with your mom. My heart and prayers are with each of you. Thank you for sharing your Sue with us. May God watch over each of you and keep you in His care. My heart to yours, Lynn

I am so sorry for your loss, Sue was a wonderful person. I worked with Sue at Telus for 5 years and I can’t remember a day that she didn’t have a smile or kind word for everyone. She will be greatly missed by all the people who were touched by her warmth. In memory of Sue I have started a memoriam page on Facebook.
God Bless and all of you are in my prayers.
