Obituary of HENSON – Rose Fern

September 26, 1924 – April 28, 2010 Rose “Fern” Henson of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the age of 85 years. Fern was born in Bearberry, AB. At an early age, her family moved to Calgary where she was raised and later married Bill Henson on February 22, 1947. They lived in Montgomery for over fifty years and she was very active in the community when her children were growing up. Her life revolved around family, gardening, and her little dog Tessie. Fern was predeceased by Bill after fifty years of marriage, as well as her brother Bill Mould, and her sisters, Jean Wray and Joey Trofanenko. She is survived by her children, Lynn (Wayne) Fauth, Jo-Anne (Ron) Regambal and Chuck (Bev) as well as her grandchildren, Marci (Ben), Rob, Candice, and Aaron. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service commencing at 1:00 p.m. on the same day.
