Obituary of ANDERSON – Irene

September 28, 1918 – April 28, 2010 Irene Anderson of Airdrie passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the age of 91 years. Irene was born in Saskatchewan, one of a family of ten children. She and her husband Clifford moved to Airdrie in 1954, and resided in that area for the rest of their lives. She worked hard, as a daughter, as a wife and as a mother. At an age when many think of retiring from a career, Irene bravely embarked on one, and was for many years the proprietor of Irene Anderson Fashions in Penny Lane Mall, Calgary. Irene is survived by her daughter, Bonita; her son, Bryan; her grandchildren, Darik, Rebecca, Glorianna and Victoria; her sister, Rosella Fradette, and her brothers, Ernie, Stanley, and Clarence Becker. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Glenn Anderson and five brothers. At Irene’s request, no funeral service will be held. You may forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
