Obituary of KELLY – Norman Edward

August 31, 1940 – April 28, 2010 With great sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of Norman Edward Kelly of Calgary, on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the age of 69 years. After four years of fighting cancer Norman passed away peacefully at his home with his family at his side. He was born August 31, 1940 in London, ON and later moved to Calgary, where he met his wife Alma. Norman and Alma celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last June. Norman served in the Canadian Army in 1957 to 1959 with Queens Own. After serving with the Canadian Army, he became a truck driver and drove a truck for most of the remainder of his life (fifty years). Norman is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years Alma; his daughter Belinda Temple (Dwayne); and his five sons, Russel (Claire), Darcy, Duayne (Kim), Pat, and Darryl (Lori). He is also survived by his five grandsons, Jason, Colin, Justin, Ryan, and Brandon. He is also survived by his brother Bob and two sisters Sandy and Terry of Ontario and many nieces and nephews. Norman was predeceased by his parents Norma and Edgar Kelly. A Celebration of Life will be held at Parkridge Estates Community Hall (222 Burroughs Circle N.E.) on Sunday, May 2, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Forward condolences through .
