Condolences
I met Charlie when I was visiting my uncle one day at the Colonel Belcher and introduced myself. We had a lovely chat and he told me about his beloved horses and how he used to ride years ago not far from where I now live in northwest Calgary. He was clearly a kind and good natured man with a wonderful smile. I was very saddened to see the memorial to him in Tecumseh House when I visited on Monday last. My sincerest condolences to you all – I know he will be greatly missed.
Gayle – my sympathies on the passing of your Dad. There is a special bond between a father and daughter. My thoughts are with you.
Sharon
Our prayers go out to you and your family while you both mourn and celebrate this amazing life.
Hap was a wonderful man and we are blessed to have had him in our lives. With his stern “no nonsense” approach, quick sense of humour and passion for his beliefs, he had an impact on anyone he crossed paths with.
Just the thought of seeing him brought a smile to Nana’s face and that is just one reason we will forever be grateful for having in him our lives.
God bless.
Our deepest condolences. Hap was a great man – adventurous, entertaining and just fun to be around. He had a wonderful memory and told many interesting stories of his life. He will be greatly missed, but now he is with the love of his life – Aunt Lil. Love to you all. Phil and Verona
