Obituary of PAN – Yian Yin

November 18, 1930 – April 21, 2010 The Pan family announces with deep sadness the loss of our mother Yian Pan. Yian Pan was born in the Shandong province of China and trained as a biologist in Taiwan. She lived many years in Winnipeg with her husband Fred who predeceased her before she moved to Calgary. Yian was a loving mother to her two daughters, Lillian (Rob Smith) and Nancy (Terry Wong). She leaves behind four grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Rhiannon, Danika, Kira, and Nathan. As well, she leaves her loving sister Lu Tai (James); nephews, George (Ingrid) and Walson (Rhonda) and their families; brother Sam Yin (Karen) of Boston; nephew Dan; niece Lisa and their families. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
