Obituary of MacINNIS – Olive Frances Christina Chrissy

January 25, 1922 – April 21, 2010 Olive Frances Christina “Chrissy” MacInnis of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Rockyview Hospital on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the age of 88 years. Born in Vernon, British Columbia and raised on a farm in Alberta, Chrissy developed a passion for horses which lasted a lifetime. She enjoyed riding in her early years and then collecting horse memorabilia. Her family was very important to her and she was able to have all of her family with her in her final days. Chris was a wonderful, loving soul with a passion for life. For many years dancing was a frequent activity that she truly enjoyed. She was a graceful dancer who loved the social aspect of being with others while having fun. Chris had a great sense of adventure and enjoyed motorcycling and travelling, making friends wherever she went. The joyous sound of her laughter and memories of her zest for life will linger in the minds of all who knew and loved her. Chrissy is survived by her loving children, Terry (Penny), Larry (Beverly), Don (Sharron), Randy, Heather (David), and Sherry (Tammy); brother Bill; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Chrissy’s Life will be held at First Alliance Church (12345 – 40th Street S.E.) on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
