Obituary of CORNWALL — Mary

May 3, 1936 – April 18, 2010 Mary Cornwall passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at Rockyview Hospital in Calgary, Alberta on April 18 as a result of surgical complications. Mary was born in Clydebank, Scotland on May 3, 1936, and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1963. She is survived by her devoted husband Christopher and her two loving children: Stephen Cornwall, his wife Lecia and their two wonderful children Griffin and Olivia of De Winton, Alberta; daughter Deanne Cotton-Cornwall and her partner Dan Belczewski of Calgary. Mary is also survived by her dear sister Margaret Johnston and husband Peter of Devon, England. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Mary will be fondly remembered for her kindness and great generosity. Mary was tremendously dedicated to her career and her passion and drive were legendary. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, either personally or professionally. A memorial service and reception for Mary will be held on Friday, April 30 at 2 pm, at McInnis and Holloway’s Fish Creek Chapel, 14441 Bannister Road, S.E., Calgary, AB (phone: 403-256-9575).
