Obituary of JONES – Gregory Charles

November 3, 1948 – April 16, 2010 Greg Jones, beloved husband of Anne Bury of Springbank and loving and proud father of Julia, Stewart, and Douglas, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2010 at the age of 61 years. Greg was born in Winnipeg, and lived in Pointe Claire, Quebec, but became a proud Albertan when he moved to Calgary in 1996 with Canadian Pacific. Greg loved living on his acreage with his family and his dogs, but also lived to ride his Harley and to camp and hike in Alberta’s foothills and mountains. Gentle and intellectual, Greg marched to the beat of his own drum. He was a loyal friend who will be missed by all who knew him. Greg was predeceased by his parents Charles and Norma Jones (nee Deering) and by his brother Gerry Jones.
