Condolences
To all of you – I was sad to learn of Mildred’s passing. I enjoyed time with her here in Brentwood Bay where we shared many laughs and good times. I am glad for her family that she had such a long time with you all in Calgary – that is worth so much.
Blessings to you all –
Jane Poole

I was saddened to hear of Mildred’s death. There are many memories going back more than 50 years, in Baie d’Urfe, Florida and B.C. Thinking of you all

Dear John, Susan and Pam,
My father Gordon and I were very sorry to hear about Mildred. I have wonderful memories of all the fun we had at your house in Baie d’Urfe while we were growing up.
Our thoughts are with you,
Mary Pat & Gordon Frey
John, Susan, Pam, families and friends:
I am very saddened by Mildred’s loss, and regret so many missed opportunities to talk with her and stay in better touch over the years.
With such a vibrant spirit as Mildred’s – I can’t help but think that in some “cosmic” way she is simply “all around you” now. All that bright, dynamic and loving energy cannot possibly be extinguished. Just freed.
I am thinking of you all. I know you are taking care of each other.
Much love always, Susan
John, Susan, Pam,
I was so sorry to read of your Mum’s passing in the Saturday G&M.
I have fond memories of our families sharing times at 4 Mile Lake, at each other’s family homes in Don Mills and our visit to you in Baie d’Urfe.
Please know that Ilona and my thoughts are with you and your families.
We were so sorry to hear of Mildred’s passing, our thoughts are with you.
Hi,
We are former neighbours of Steve and Mildred, from when they lived in Baie d’Urfe. We thought them the “loveliest” neighbours. At the time we moved there we had 4 young kids. The Cowan family were at the leaving-home stage, so they adopted our four, in the nicest possible way, teaching them sailing, inviting them over to help decorate their Christmas tree, giving them exciting rides on a ice sailing boat, and generally befriending them in dozens of ways. They were so lucky! Mildred was always, and justifiably proud of her family, and we heard good things about them. Mildred was also a best friend to other Baie d’Urfe neighbours. We are sorry to hear of her death. Joyce & Don Whittle
