Obituary of ARAMOUNY – Sophie

July 27, 1940 – April 10, 2010 Sophie Aramouny, beloved wife of late husband Tony of Calgary, and beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the age of 69 years. Sophie was born in Palestine and was later raised in Lebanon. She and her husband immigrated to Canada in 1973. Sophie and Tony worked together to build a wonderful life for their family. Those who knew her will never forget her. She had a great zest for life, including traveling and, most importantly, being with family and friends. Sophie had a hearty laugh and a very kind heart. She lived her life to the fullest and taught her family to do the same. Sophie will be sadly missed by her children, Nicole and Rob Mantle, Michelle and Marc Pilon and Alex and Jomana Aramouny; dear friend Abed Zeidan; and what she called “her life”, her eight grandchildren. We have great faith that God has called Sophie to return to him and that her husband Tony has welcomed her back into his arms.
