Obituary of HAMILTON – Wallace Edgar Ed

March 7, 1922 – April 10, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wallace Edgar “Ed” Hamilton, beloved husband of Gertrude “Trudy” of Calgary, on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the age of 88 years. Ed was born in Paris, ON. In 1949, he graduated from the University of Toronto with a Degree in Chemical Engineering. He then had a long and successful career with Cyanamid Canada for thirty-two years. Ed loved sport, but in particular he had a life-long passion for playing bridge and golf. Besides Trudy, his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Ed’s memory will be cherished by his dear daughter and son-in-law Judy Hamilton and George Sykora; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Dianne Hamilton; and much loved grandchildren, Sheila Hamilton and Robert Hamilton. He will also be remembered by his sister and brother-in-law Bea and Roy Cranston; as well as many nieces and nephews. Ed was predeceased by his parents Hazel and George Hamilton; three brothers and a sister. A private family service will be held. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
