Obituary of TIBBLE – Mary

May 21, 1923 – April 08, 2010 Mary Tibble of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the age of 86, surrounded by the love of her family, at home, as was her wish. She was the only child born to Charles and Sarah Mison of Edmonton. She was the heart and anchor of our family to which she devoted herself completely. Her green thumb produced amazing gardens year after year, and her creative side produced beautiful knitting, sewing and both water colour and acrylic paintings. Mary is survived by sons David Tibble (Alison) and Terry Tibble; daughter Barbara Lamoureux; treasured grandchildren, Erin, Corey (Kim), Heather (John), Kent (Jacqueline) and Brett (Crystal), and took great delight in her little treasures; great granddaughters Macie, Kyra, Mary and Sarah. Mary was predeceased by her parents and Frank, her loving husband of 63 years. Her strength, courage, love and sense of humour were an inspiration to us all, and we have a lifetime of memories to sustain us. The family is grateful to Dr. Wiebe and Dr. Calder, whose expertise gave the family extra quality time with Mom, and to her caregivers who, for the last two weeks, provided comfort, care and compassion.
