Condolences
Dear Shannon and Colleen,
We wish to express our sympathy to you on your father’s passing. We watched him perform as a father and grandfather, coaching you girls in softball, pulling the grand-children in the wagon, among other activities over the many years he lived at Vincent Place. He was a good man, a kind man and leaves a hole in the community. Charlie and Lea Johnson
Dear Shannon and Colleen,
I wish I had joined you today in the celebration of George’s wonderful life. I will always remember him and his smile. Through our short talks at early morning, I learned a lot from him. His passion, caring and love are beyond description.
I will always remember him
Az
Dear Shannon and Colleen – I was so sorry to hear about your dad’s passing. I have lost contact with him in the past few years so did not realize that he had been ill. The last time I saw him was at my husband’s funeral. As you said, he was always so friendly and genuine when he met others and both Charlie and I considered him to be a fine person and a man to be respected. I know he will be missed by many especially his family of which he loved so much. I will be away April 12 – 26 visiting Darrell and Monica in the UK so may miss the memorial service. Please know you are both in my thoughts and prayers.

Thinking of you both today as well as your family as you mourn the loss of your Dad, George. What a wonderful man he was…so sorry for your loss.

Dear Colleen and Shannon:
Laurie and I are shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the passing of George. Through Kenneth, we know what a wonderful family you all are – and through your Dad’s kindness, Laurie had a place to go while having tests at the hospital in Calgary. George could not have been more hospitable, kind and just doing whatever he could, to assist Laurie throughout that very difficult week. We have always been so appreciative of the caring shown to Laurie at that time.
Kenneth always mentions your names Colleen and Shannon; and of course Rie and Shino share your names and their middle names so you are both deeply connected to us.
Our deepest sympathies to you all and we shall be thinking of you, through this very difficult and sad time.
With kindest regards, Paula and Laurie (Kenneth’s parents)
Dear Shannon and Colleen,
I am so sorry for your loss. I loved your Dad’s wit and compassion, both of which surfaced regularly and always in the most timely fashion. Please accept my sincere condolences and extend them Tim, Murray, all the kids, and George’s friends and family. Ken
