Obituary of KORYTKO – Leon

June 20,1918 to March 29,2010 Leon Korytko passed away at the age of 92 years. Leon is survived by his wife Frances and his four children, Ben (Joanne), Shirley (Alan) Rimer, Nathan (Huguette) and Toby. Also left to mourn are his grandchildren, Shane and Megan Korytko, Michelle (Mike) Hartwick, Josh and Andy Rimer and great grandchildren Molly and Hayley Hartwick. Dad was born in Novemiasto, Poland, the youngest of Motl and Sarah’s three sons and sole family survivor of the Holocaust. He came to Canada in 1948 and had a successful and rewarding life as a contractor. He was always very supportive of his family. We will miss his wisdom and his sense of humour. A special thank you to Dr. E.S. d’Archangelo, for his many years of compassionate care. Service and interment will take place at 2 pm on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at the Beth Tzedec Memorial Park, 122 Shalom Way S.W. ( Macleod Trail and 162 Ave S.W.)
