Obituary of KUHN – Klaus Nikolaus

March 28, 1951 – March 24, 2010 Klaus Kuhn, beloved husband of Sandy Bourlet of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the age of 58 years. Klaus was born in Germany and immigrated to Canada with his family as a young boy. In his teens Klaus was a competitive downhill skier and had a passion for the outdoors, hiking and motorcycle riding. He and Sandy enjoyed travelling, especially to places where they could experience a new outdoor adventure. In 1974, Klaus began a career in the oil and gas industry and went on to found his own company Ultratest NDT Services Inc in 1984. Klaus was a dedicated professional and devoted himself to developing his skills and technical knowledge. Besides his loving wife, Klaus is survived by his mother Gerlinde Kuhn, two sisters Petra (Tom) Plogstert and Helga (Wolfgang) Rupp, niece Nina Plogstert, nephew Marcel Rupp and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins all of Mannheim, Germany. He was predeceased by his father Henry and his brother Hop.
