Obituary of MEAGHER – Lillian Agnes

January 15, 1918 – March 20, 2010 Lillian Meagher of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the age of 92 years. When Lillian’s husband Harry passed away, she and her daughter Kathryn resided with Lillian’s parents. Lillian loved her large extended family and was loved in return. Lillian worked for many years at the Hudson’s Bay Company and will be remembered for her kindness. Late in her life, illness forced her to reside at the Mount Royal Care Centre where she was well cared for until her passing. Lillian is survived by her daughter Kathryn Furlan, her grandchildren Michelle Furlan and Lisa Diaz (Robin) and Aldo Furlan; she also leaves behind her beloved great grandson Lewis Furlan-Lowry and his father Chris; sisters Connie Amantea (Mike), Millie Buckley, and sister-in-law Lida Buccini. She was predeceased by her beloved granddaughter Laura Furlan, her parents Giuseppe and Mariuccia, her brothers Don Buccini (Ellen), Fred Buccini, and her sisters Dora Bordun (Peter) and Isa Orrell (Forest). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 219 – 18 Avenue S.W. on Wednesday March, 24, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
