Obituary of RICHARDS – Herbert Emlyn

April 10, 1922 – March 20, 2010 Herb, beloved husband of Isabella, of Calgary passed away on Saturday March 20, 2010 at the age of 87 years. Herb was born in Merthyr Tydvil, Wales. He moved to the Crowsnest Pass as a child with his parents and lived there until 1951. Herb moved his family to Calgary where he lived and worked until the time of his passing. His greatest love was for his family, especially his true love, his wife Isabella whom he cherished so much. He just loved to keep in contact with all his family and friends with his many phone calls. Some of his favourite interests were his gardening, Calgary Flames and Toronto Blue Jays. You could find him in front of his TV watching all their games. Herb leaves behind Isabella, his loving wife of sixty seven years, his children, Ross (Dianne) and Janiece; grandchildren Suzette, Nanette, Scott, Kimberly, and Jon (Colleen); great grandchildren Michael, Daylen, Destin, Chase, and Aidan; his brothers John, and Myrddyn (Gladys) sister in law Lillian and many nieces and nephews. Herb was predeceased by his son Daniel, daughter Judith and his brothers Robert and David. There will be a private celebration of Herb’s life. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
