MACINTYRE James Francis

Obituary of MACINTYRE – James Francis

April 1, 1964 – March 10, 2010 Jim MacIntyre of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, March 10 2010 in his home at the age of forty-five years. Born in Antigonish, he is the son of Lynn and Jack MacIntyre. He is survived by daughters MacKenzie and Cameron and by his friend Denise McIntyre. He was a devoted father and his greatest achievement was being part of his children’s lives. The fifth of ten children, Jim was a proud Antigonisher and Nova Scotian with friends from one end of the country to the other. He was a meticulous journeyman carpenter who loved the trade so much that he was always doing something for friends and family on weekends. Jim was full of the devil, and he touched the lives of everybody he met. We don’t think he’ll ever know just how much we love him or how much we will miss him. You are in our hearts Jim-Bob, and we’ll proudly carry you around with us . . . you live on with us, and we will pass on and share those memories so that you will live on for your children and for all of the people you cared about. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of Jim MacIntyre, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Fish Creek Chapel, (14441 BANNISTER ROAD S.E.) on Monday, March 15 , 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Telephone: (403) 256-9575.
