Obituary of SIMMONDS – Germaine Elizabeth

March 5, 1918 – March 5, 2010 Germaine Simmonds passed away on Friday, March 5, 2010 on her 92nd Birthday. Gerry as she was known was born in the Cote-Des-Neiges district of Montreal, within walking distance of St. Joseph’s Oratory where she worked until marrying our father in 1947. She moved to Calgary in 2000. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years Harry Simmonds in January 2000. Left to mourn her are her two sons, Bruce (Jamille) Simmonds of Riverdale, New Jersey and Robert (Karen) Simmonds of Calgary and her beloved grandsons Misha (Ceci) Simmonds of Teaneck, New Jersey and Jan Simmonds of New York City.
