Uncle Bill was bestowed with the nickname of “Papa Bill” at my dad’s funeral (Bill’s brother). Our Daughter Shandy was amazed at the likeness of the two brothers and felt so connected to her Papa with the heartfelt hug from Uncle Bill. Although our lives haven’t crossed too many times over the years his smile, and concern and wonderful laugh will be missed. Frank and I send our love and condolences and prayers for peace to you both Susan and Jill.

I just want to let you both know that dad told me about my uncle Bill today. I am so sorry for your loss. While I always knew this news would come someday, I sure did not want to hear it. Uncle Bill was always like a rock in my mind. The quintessential guy that could always get things done and told it how it was no matter what!

I will miss him that is for sure but I am just as glad to know he is with your mom now, and happy once again.

I was so sad to hear the news. I loved my Uncle Bill. I had such a soft spot for him and I will carry him in my heart. He was so caring and genuine and I will miss our chats.

Dear Susan & Jill:

We were sad to hear of your Dad’s passing. We would like you to know how we felt about Bill. He treated every one like they were special. Betty & Bill’s yearly visit to Victoria was a highlight for all of us. We loved him and we will miss him.

Bill was my best friend for over 60 years. Charlene and I will miss him as we miss Betty, dearly, but with many precious memories.

We loved Bill. He was the kindest of men. I’m so grateful I got to speak to him just days before he joined his Betty. Our deepest sympathy to Jill and Susan. He adored you.
