Condolences
I was a friend of Bobs but I also knew Dennis and the family from Saskatoon. I worked for Shaw cable in 1989 where I met Dennis again; a nice surprise. Sending my prayers to the family. I live in Calgary, am retired, my e mail is carralec@gmail.com. If you choose to reply it would be nice. A long time has gone by. God bless, ALEC
Dear Janice, Keith and I were so sorry to hear of your loss. We both remember Dennis fondly and enjoyed our Bay Stampede parties with you both. I also spoke with Cathy Wychick and Gabbie Biro and they asked me to send you their best and they are thinking of you. Our hearts go out to you and your family. Carmen and Keith Semark
Dear Janice,
Kathleen has asked me to send you her deepest sympathy on the death of Dennis and to give you her best wishes for the future.
Best regards, Dec Dunne
To Janice and the Schellenburg family;
My sincerest condolences upon the passing of Dennis. I knew and worked with Dennis during our time together at Shaw. He was highly respected by all who knew him, and known as a man of great warmth, integrity and ability. Dennis was a rare leader who really cared for others and always stood for what was right, not just what was convenient.
He will be greatly missed.
Janice,
Dennis was kind, considerate, and decent, with a wonderful sense of humor.
He gave generously of his time and talent to assist his entire family throughout the years.
I recall back in the early seventies when you and Dennis helped a broke teenager acquire his first automobile.
Allowing me to keep my dignity you “sold” it to me for an insignificant sum (about the cost of a tank of gas in those days).
That Ford Custom helped me enormously and changed my life for the better. I was able to obtain my first real
job (and it certainly improved my social life).
I shall always appreciate the generosity that Dennis and you have shown me.
In the many years I have known him, I have never seen Dennis be mean, unkind, or inconsiderate to anyone.
He was an exceptionally good man.
Dennis, like his father, has been an important role model for me.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Joe Mooney
To Janice & family,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. Dennis was great to work with at Shaw. He always had great insight and was an excellent mentor. Dennis will be missed.
My thoughts are with you.
To the Schellenberg family,
My thoughts are with you during this time. Dennis had also given me the opportunity to join Shaw and I will always remember his patience, leadership and sense of humour.
To Janice and your family
My deepest condolences for your loss. I really enjoyed working with Dennis at Shaw Cable. He was a great inspiration to me and by giving me an opportunity (far beyond my skill set at the time), he forever boosted my career.
I remember Dennis being a joy to work for and with.
He will be missed.
