Obituary of JOSSET – Annick Marie Odette

July 2, 1949 – February 24, 2010 Annick Marie Odette Josset, passed away in Calgary on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the age of 60 years. Born in St. Nazaire France, Annick immigrated to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1972. Annick adored her new adopted country, and eventually settled in Calgary, Alberta. She had been bitten by the travel bug at a very early age and continued to travel throughout her life at every opportunity. She landed on many foreign soils and touched even more hearts on her countless journeys. Annick taught Kindergarten to Grade four French Immersion during her career as a teacher and left her creative imprint on thousands of children in the process. Annick’s most prized accomplishment was the publication of her novel, One Adventure Too Many, a funny tale of two of Annick’s favourite passions: travel and people. Her compassion, empathy, friendship and sense of humour will be missed by everyone who knew her. A Celebration of Annick’s life will be held at Deer Park United Church (77 Deer Point Rd. S.E.) on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. To continue Annick’s love of happy colors, she has requested that no black be worn at her Celebration.
