Obituary of TAIT – Gladys Kennedy

September 16. 1932 – February 23, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Gladys Kennedy Tait, at age seventy seven in Calgary on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Gladys was predeceased by James McCall Tait, her beloved husband March 17, 1985. Gladys and James immigrated to Calgary from Ayr, Scotland in 1954 with their two baby boys. Left to cherish her memory are her children William Tait (Lois), James Tait (Laura), Dorene Mellow (Gerry), Kathleen Wear (James) Melody Tait, Misty Tait, and Danny Tait (Fatma). Also left to remember her is her sister Dora MacCormack, her brother David Kerr (June) and her dear friend Irene Taylor. Her grandchildren, Catherine, Tyrone, Caleb, Dominick, Ryan, Leia, Jessie, Carson, Amy, Melissa, Kelsey, Justin, Kayla, Jack and Siyonna, will all greatly miss their grandmother as well as will her nine great grandchildren. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at MCINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with Graveside Service to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace.
