Hello Debbie and the whole johnson family I know this is a sad moment and a over due contact I’m very sorry to find out that glen (opie) has passed I wish it wasn’t so ! I’m a old family friend who new him well and I’ve been trying to contact the family with no success . Opie always had a kind word and warm smile for everyone. I was saddened to hear the news. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed. My thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.

I was saddened by the news that Opie had passed. He was such a wonderful person to know and work with. I had the pleasure of meeting Opie in Toronto at Quik X and then meeting up again with him in Calgary. He had a great spirit and such a warm heart. I’ll miss him and my heart goes out to his family.

I’m so terribly sorry for your loss!!. Even though Glen and I haven’t spoken in twenty years, I wanted you all to know the impact felt by myself. Glen was a very compassionate, forgiving and strong man. He as well as Deb knew me when I was 16 and the conversations Glen and I had on occasion still rings in my ears. They took me in at a time that wasn’t very stable and guided me through, for that I will be eternally gratefull! And he will be missed by so many!! I’m one of hundreds I’m sure.
