Your Mom was a wonderful woman. I remember hearing that from people who had met her. I believe your Mother’s spunky ways, her love of family, joy in simple things, loyalty to friends and genuine zest for life, live on through you and your siblings. You were blessed to be her daughter and one day the older, most precious and happy memories will surface and erase the more recent and difficult ones. It will get better. Take Care of Carleen. Your Mom would want that.
I felt a great sense of loss when I heard of Eve’s passing. Friends like the Richardson family (Eve & John, Karyn, Carleen, & Kent) are a rare and wonderful experience that I will always fondly remember from growing up in Calgary. So many good times were enjoyed with this family, and Eve will forever be remembered as a beautiful, wise, warm and caring woman. To the Richardson family, may your memories give you strength during this sad time. To Eve, rest in peace, may your beautiful soul live on forever.
We are deeply saddened by Eve’s sudden departure. Circumstances prevented us from visiting in the last few years. We will forever remember the great times we had together as a family. Sandra, Sherryl, Susan & Brian also are remembering Eve in their thoughts and prayers. John, Karyn, Carleen, Kent, you are still like an extended family to us. Please come and visit us in Kelowna.
