Condolences
The Arthritis Society is the grateful recipient of a contribution in memory of Gwendolyn Armstrong from James & Joan Clark of Calgary, AB. May the knowledge that this gift will help others be of comfort to you at this time.
Dear Kelly and Randy and Families….I am so sorry to hear of your moms passing. Gwen was always full of life and loved her family so much. She will be truly missed by all. I could talk to your mom about anything and she understood things that only you and herself would share. Much Love Gayle. I will miss her.
Dear Kelly and Randy,
I’m so sorry to hear that your Mom passed away. Although I haven’t been in constant contact, I was so happy when you (Kelly) and your Mom attended Barbara’s reception, when she passed away in 2002.
Steven and Heather also send their condolences. When we lived next door to you on Hunterbow Cr., they always called your Mom “Aunty Gwen”.
The paper mentioned a gathering was being planned by family and friends but no information was provided. Since I don’t get the paper everyday, I would like very much to attend and offer my condolences in person.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
I was so shocked to read of your Mom’s passing. She needed more time with her grandchildren. She and I had many good times together. Our lives went in different directions but we were still able to re-connect occasionally.
My thoughts will be with you at this sad time.
To Gwen’s Family and Friends
Attending an arthritis support group with Gwen always made one feel happier because of her down-to-earth statements, her encouragement, her determination and her plucky attitude!
She remains a mentor for many.
Heartfelt condolences to the family and all those other friends who will remember her smile and vitality!
I attended an arthritis support group with your mom and always found her to be a cheerful, positive and supportive person. She loved to talk about her wonderful family and about how thrilled she was to be a grandmother. Her smile, laughter and kindness will be missed and you have my heartfelt condolences.

To Gwen’s family:
I was in Gwen’s nursing class and I have such fond memories of her. She was witty, full of energy, wonderful to work with, I cannot remember ever seeing her without a smile on her face and a happy word to all. She made so many people so comfortable during their illnesses and she did not deserve to suffer. I shall always remember her and her lovely red hair and the grin on her face and twinkle in her eyes. It is a terrible loss, especially to family. My condolences; remember the good times and cherish the memories.
