Obituary of ZAWALYKUT – Edward

February 25, 1941 – February 17, 2010 It is with heavy hearts the family announces the sudden passing of Edward Zawalykut of Calgary on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at the age of 68 years. He was the beloved husband of the late Rose Anne Zawalykut (deceased March 23, 2009). Edward was born and raised in Calgary where he attended St. Mary’s High School and SAIT. He was a Production Accountant in the oil and gas industry for twenty-six years before pursuing his career in wood working, which was his true passion. Edward retired from Prestige Railings and Stairs on February 22, 2008. Edward loved the outdoors and camping with family and friends, along with the many projects he worked on. Edward is survived by his children, Jeff, Rod (Yvonne) and Corrie (Clint) Bailey; grandchildren, Denna, Jeremy, Brianna, Jessie, Jack, Hannah, Brayden and Riley; two brothers Steve and Pat (Shirley), their families, and by many extended family and friends, Edward will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Besides his wife Rose Anne, Edward was predeceased by his parents.
